For exceptional bed linen: satin or cotton percale bed linen sets?

Synonymous with bed linen of incomparable quality, these two cotton weaves both have specific characteristics which allow them to offer luxury and comfort, according to everyone's tastes. Cotton satin 

 

Cotton satin has, as its name suggests, a satin appearance. Its incomparable softness is close to that of silk. Made up of 120 threads/cm², its dense and very tight weave is of a quality that allows it to stand the test of time, ensuring the best comfort but also ensuring a very soft and silky touch. The little extra of this essential is that it does not crease the hair and skin, and does not slip off the bed unlike silk. 

Cotton satin is suitable for all seasons. It is ideal in duvet cover in winter thanks to its weaving which helps retain body heat. Its heavier-than-usual drape contributes to the luxurious “hotel bed” experience.

Cotton percale

 

It is the more matte finish of this weave that makes it different from satin. It is made up of 80 threads/cm2 and although its softness is slightly less, its very robust tight weave makes it easier to maintain. Its comfort is just as exceptional as that of cotton satin. It also provides a lot of freshness. 

Its cotton fibers and weaving guarantee great durability over time. Over time, the bed linen will soften and wrinkle less and less.

A multitude of combinations

 

To bring out the beauty of these fabrics, there is nothing better than putting them together or mixing them with other materials. We have developed a wide range of materials: cotton satin, cotton percale but also cotton gauze or washed linen, and mixing & matching is entirely possible.

We also think about cushions and bedspreads to perfect the ambiance of your bedroom. The combination of a matte weave like washed linen and the shiny appearance of side satin will give an additional character to the decoration of your bedroom.
